A DIE-CAST
ALUMINIUM FLOODLIGHT
RANGE
A compact floodlight with integral control gear for use with 7OW HPS
and 7OW/1 5OW HQI lamps.
APPLICATIONS
For small to medium size applications, this range of ENERY SAVING
floodlights use more than 70% less energy than traditional tungsten
halogen models with more than five times longer lamp life. Tempesta
1 is therefore particulary suitable for applications involving long
operational periods i.e. security lighting, storage areas,
floodlighting of buildings and monuments, and car parks.
CONSTRUCTION
The body is made of die-cast aluminium finished in durable black
paint. The reflector is mode from anodized high grade dimpled
aluminium to give an efficient wide beam. The front cover is formed
from durable glass set into a die-cast aluminium frame. This frame
is hinged to the floodlight body to facilitate installation and lamp
changing. A silicon rubber sealing gasket provides an IP 65 ingress
degree of protection. All external screws are made of stainless
steel
ELECTRICAL
The control gear box is provided with a compression type PG 11 cable
gland and a 3-way terminal block. The gear tray is made of zinc
coated steel sheet. High temperture silicon insulated conductors are
used throughout.
MECHANICAL
Mounting is via a painted galvanized steel bracket.
ACCESSORIES
Wire guard: A steel wire guard is available to protect the glass
cover from impact damage .
