NON CORROSIVE LUMINAIRES
RANGE
The Artic range consists of 18W, 36W and 58W single and twin
lamps fully enclosed non corrosive luminaires.
APPLICATION
Artic luminaires are ideal for use in dusty or humid environment
i.e. wash houses, breweries, swimming pools, under canopy areas,
loading bays, parking areas, food processing, pharmaceutical
factories etc.
CONSTRUCTION
Artic-E: body is made from
extremly durable injection moulded, heat resistant acrylic. Diffuser
is made of clear injection moulded acrylic.
Artic-PE: body in thermo
resistant acrylic and the diffuser is made in polycarbonate.
Artic-EP: body made from
polycarbonate and diffuser made from thermo resistant acrylic.
Artic-P: body and diffuser are
made of injection moulded polycarbonate (V2) to provide the ultimate
in vandal and heat resistance. The diffusers are hinged to the
luminaire body for ease of installation and maintenance. An
extremely efficient polyurethan gasket is injected into the
luminaire body in order to achieve ingress protection to IP 65. Gear
tray is retained by quick release quarter turn fasteners and can be
suspended from the luminaire body by nylon suspention straps.
ELECTRICAL
Control gear is switch start as standard and rated 230V or 240V
50 Hz. A three way terminal block is provided. High temperture PVC
insulated wiring is used throughout.
MECHANICAL
Cable entry is via a 20mm grommeted entry hole at one end and a
20mm knock out at the other end, alternatively cables can enter
through either of the two conduit entry points in the rear of the
luminaire body. Recessed suspention lugs are fitted to the luminaire
body for chain suspention. The fitting can also be fixed directly to
the mounting surface via screws or suspended on conduit via the
reinforced 20mm conduit entries provided in the rear of the
luminaire.
ACCESSORIES
High Frequency: on request we can provide high frequency
ballasts.
SPECIFICATION
Designed according with the following Standards: CEI 34 - 21 and
EN60598.
