NON CORROSIVE,
STAINLESS STEEL LUMINAIRES
RANGE
The ArmadaŽ range consists of 18W and 36W single and twin lamps
fully enclosed non corrosive luminaires.
APPLICATION
ArmadaŽ luminaires are ideal for use in dusty, very humid,
hazardous environment and industrial installation i.e. wash houses,
breweries, food processing, pharmaceutical factories, chemical and
petrochemical installations etc.
CONSTRUCTION
Body: is made of deep pressed moulding stainless
steel AISI - 304 with 0.80mm thickness.
Frame: is mode of one piece without welding pressed stainless steel
AISI - 304 with 1.00mm thickness.
Diffuser: is made of 4 mm thickness tempered glass sealed
into the frame by a continuous silicon ring. The frame is attached
to the body by the means of unloosable cylindric head, recessed
hexagonal key stainless steel (AISI-304) screws.
Gasket: a closed cell rubber gasket is sealed to the frame
and body to insure the IP 65 ingress protection.
Gear tray: is made of AISI - 304 stainless steel with 1.00mm
thickness. During maintenance, the gear tray remains hinged to the
body by the means of two, suspension straps. The gear tray is
retained by two quick release locking (screw transfer) device
systems.
ELECTRICAL
Control gear is switch start as standard, all control
gears are rated 230V or 240V 50Hz. High frequency electronic ballast
could be supplied. High temperature PVC insulated wiring is used
throughout. The standard lampholder has 2 pins suitable for TLD
fluorescent lamps, but 4 pins or other special lampholder could be
supplied if request.
MECHANICAL
Cable Entries: 21 mm, entries as standard.
Other size entries are available or request.
Recessed, suspension lugs are fitted to the luminaire body for
chain suspension. ArmadaŽ can also be fixed directly to the mounting
surface via screws or suspended on conduit by the reinforced 20 mm.

MOUNTING ACCESSORIES
Two small brackets have been welded to the body (no
through holes or screws) to fix the fitting to the ceiling or for
suspension.
SPECIFICATION
Designed in accordance with the following standards:
EN60598-1, EN60598-2-1, EN50021, compliance with Electromagnetic
Compatibility according to European Directive 89/336/EC (EMC).
