STREET LIGHTING LANTERN
RANGE
The highly efficient design with enhanced performance together with
its aestetic appearance make it the ideal solution to compliment
architectural and urban requirements. The appearance of Plaza is
pleasing during the day and functional at night. Plaza can
accommodate 70W, 100W, 150W, HPS, MBI and 80W, 125W MBF lamps.
APPLICATION
Plaza is the Nordex architectural amenity lantern intended for
lighting parks, gardens, shopping malls, main streets, and
residential areas.
CONSTRUCTION
The body, cover and spigot fixing are made of high-quality die-cast
aluminium alloy and finished in corrosion resistant polyester powder
coat paint (RAL 9007), applied over a chromate conversion coating
giving an extended service life. Anti-glare louver stack is made of
galvanised steel for improved glare control. The transparent
enclosure is made of impact resistant UV stabilised clear
polycarbonate. Canopy is finished with polyester powder coat
(interior white RAL 9010, exterior RAL 9007)
ELECTRICAL
Gear and lamp Compartment
All electrical accessories are completely pre-wired on a removable
and replaceable steel gear tray (Class I). High temperature silicon
insulated conductors (1.5 sq mm) are used throughout.
In line disconnecting switch assures that the electrical circuit is
automatically disconnected when the luminaire is open. In the class
II mode the lantern is fitted with an in-line disconnecting switch
which ensures that the electrical supply is immediately disconnected
when the luminaire is open and the gear tray can be made in
polycabonate. The protection degree is IP 65
MAINTENANCE
To replace the lamp release the four screws at the lower part of the
lantern, slide upward the polycarbonate tube that can be locked in
an upper position automatically by meanas of steel springs.
MECHANICAL
Spigot fixing is suitable for 76 mm pole diameter (60 mm an option).
